JOHN SNOW INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH AND TRAINING

John Snow International (UK) is a non-profit making company dedicated to promoting and protecting the health of individuals and communities throughout the world. We provide expertise on a wide range of public health issues to governments and donors, complemented by our affiliation with John Snow Incorporated. We are the DfID Resource Centre for Sexual and Reproductive Health, providing technical assistance to European donors and their country programmes.Our aim is to contribute to the achievement of the internationally agreed health development targets through the provision of well-managed technical assistance, information, and policy support to a wide range of clients and partners. We achieve this through innovative approaches, collaboration and partnership with organisations that are committed to seeking solutions and making a difference.

JSIUK are actively working with DFID in the development of the Virtual Teams project
This project uses the World Wide Web to provide Conference facilities for delegates to work together on time limited topics or themes. Current conferences are HIV AIDS TaskForce and UNFPA the conferences have attracted wide ranging international interest and participation.
