Introduction to the News Desk
The aim of the Information and Communications team of JSI(UK) is to improve and facilitate the generation, documentation, accessibility and dissemination of information and new knowledge on sexual and reproductive health.
The Information and Communications team comprises experience in communications, information technology, and sexual and reproductive health and prides itself on its accessibility to clients and flexibility. The team is involved in a wide range of activities including:
- Production of publications such as technical briefing papers, issues papers, lessons learned material and newsletters;
- Response to ad hoc information requests about sexual and reproductive health;
- Management of conferences, seminars, workshops and virtual conferences.
The team also provides technical assistance to organisations and institutions needing to exploit the potential of IT to enhance information sharing, technical IT solution development and training and support to users of IT. Our capacity is complemented by partnerships with IT leaders such as ICT Technologies Limited and Ninthbridge.

The News Centre is regularly updated and includes recommended readings and texts.
We in particular recommend the HIV and AIDS Update indicated in the right menu where journals are reviewed and a short synopsis presented to enable electronic access from around the world.
